All About Aussie
- Aussie
- I am the Australian born puppy of Matt and Nina. Matt named me Aussie, but my birth certificate name is Wildenfox Earl Jackaroo. Wildenfox Earl is for my parents and Matt gave me Jackaroo, which is the Australian equivalent of cowboy. I am an AKC certified Jack Russell Terrier. I can sit, stay, give manners, give high and low five. I only speak on command and when MamaMuffin yelps "Aussie, Aussie, Aussie"! I recently learned how to roll over, that was fun. Nina taught me how to fetch, which took quite a while, but I eventually got it. My favorite toy is my green ball that Matt and Nina put hot dogs in and I throw the ball to release the hot dogs. It keeps me entertained for at least an hour. I also enjoying finding MamaMuffin and Master. I stay in the kitchen, they hide and then bark, indicating it's time for me to "seek" them out: Hide and Seek! We have a lake in the backyard and I love wading in it, but I'm not confident enough to go swimming. My master bought me a life jacket to help me swim or float along easier. Enjoy the pictures my MamaMuffin posts. She can get annoying with the camera...everyday she takes a picture, or so it seems.
and my brother Dillon Murphy
My brother came to us through Dennis's wonderful mom. He is also a Jack Russell Terrier and the vet gave him a birthday of May 1st. He's so much fun to play with and I'm able to teach him tricks, along with my MamaMuffin. MamaMuffin and I will write for him because too young to blog, but we'll convey his thoughts as best we can.

Jayla and Aussie
The doggy-kiddos had a fun! Jayla loves resting her head on a soft surface- I think she wanted a petting- she got it! Aussie was always nipping at Jayla's feet, she always won the play fights. Jayla tried to get some rest away from Aussie, but Aussie would eventually find her and on occassion, sleep near her. It was interesting to watch Aussie try to jump on Jayla, sometime he'd get on her back or literally throw his paws around her neck and she'd oblige him with a friendly snap. She was usually forced to play with the puppy because he'd get fairly annoying- like a gnat that wouldn't go away. She missed her mom a lot, sometimes she seemed so sad, but Aussie and I tried to make her happy. They had breakfast and dinner time schedules; they tried each others food sometimes. Jayla drinks a lot of water, which was great b/c it encouraged Aussie to remember to drink! Aussie went nuts when Jayla left, whining even! Within five minutes I think he forgot what he was sad about and was outside hanging out by himself. It was a good week for Aussie and me; we had some great company.
