Aussie's inside retreat

Matt crate-trained Aussie in his early years, but as soon as I got love nugget I had him sleeping with me in the bed. I had to re-crate train him, showing Aussie the crate was a "nice place". Ever since his re-training he freely enters the crate to nap. Here he is preparing his pillow.

Just as he gets settled these days though, puppy nugget comes over and disturbs him!

Puppy nugget will crawl in the crate with big brother nugget and annoy him, eventually Dillon will get tired of Aussie not responding and leave him in peace.

my boys...I love them so much

Aussie was not amused at my sudden interest to start snapping pictures. They both looked so peaceful sleeping I wanted some pictures with the boys.

So here is Aussie going in for the ear lick and Dillon stretching at the expense of my face. I'm forcing Aussie to take this picture with me...see him trying to get away from me.

Look at my precious Dillon. He loves taking pictures with me.

A yawn or a smile (probably a yawn!)...that tongue always falls out of Dillon's mouth!

Big brother nugget

This is as close to "clothes" as Aussie's gonna get. Not only will Matt not allow clothes on the love nugget, neither will I, but this hankerchief looks rather spify on him.


The boys...I can't get a good sitting picture-ever. I caught them outside today (looks nice, but it was very chilly!) They've become more independent lately, going outside without me quite often, actually.

Dillon can wear clothes

Okay, first let me say, I'm only pro-dog-clothes when the dog looks super dooper cute in them. Aussie, for instance, is not a "clothes-kind-of-dog": he looks horrible in clothes! Dillon, on the otherhand, has the perfect little frame for cute shirts like this Christmas shirt!

At first, he tried to take the shirt off, but now he's used to it. I think he's so handsome!

Christmas time...

Well, I'm so excited for Matt to get back that I actually put the tree up a couple of days before Thanksgiving...(I'm thankful that he has been safe and is coming home soon). I'm a fan of silver and blue, so we've purchased things in that color scheme...I'm sure it'll change one year!


Aussie boy, my golden child, sat patiently for me while I took the picture. His brother nugget, on the otherhand, has no patience and only sat for a second. I think I need to work on that skill!

Here are the table top decorations...simple and not too fussy!


The dining table...oops, forgot those pictures...but the dining table and the front door table have all of the candles on them. I got those bobble santa, reindeer and snowman this year- fun fun!

Well, I found a great use of that cubby space in the wall! It makes a great landscape for a reindeer moutaintop. And there are our stockings...Matt's is filled already! We got one for Dennis also. The boys don't have stockings yet, maybe not this year??? I don't have a Baby Jesus manger scene yet, I'm going to wait for Matt to get back before I make that purchase.

Happy Thanksgiving...

Dillon, MamaMuffin and I would love to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving. I am very thankful for Becky (Dennis' Mama) for blessing us with Dillon, he's the best brother nugget a dog could ask for. I know I look mean and scary in the picture below, but we're just having fun!!!

Another night not sleeping in the bed. MamaMuffin will not allow us on the bed, she does sometimes, but not at night. The other night Dennis left his door open so me and puppy nugget crawled in bed with him. I'm thankful that Master has been safe so far and I can hardly wait for him to come home and meet puppy nugget, and just be home. We love you all- Aussie

Introducing MOSES...

MOSES: our "almost-as-cute-cousin-nugget". Moses is Kaitlyn's beloved dog (Kaitlyn is Master's niece). Kaitlyn has a blog, check out my favorite blogs on the left column. Moses thinks he is cuter than me and Dillon...um, no competition. He's adorable, very adorable, I must admit, and that tilted him makes him ridiculously cute, but I am more distinguished looking and handsome. What do you think??? Who is cuter?

We're all very different looking Jack Russell Terrier's, actually. I can't wait to meet Moses and play all day long. I bet we'll all have a blast!!!

The nugget's sleeping arrangements...

One of the last times the dogs were allowed to sleep on the bed...then I bannished them to the futon! They're not to fond of the futon...

They look cozy...but they'd rather sleep elsewhere. Here they are in their floor bedding...still, not good enough for these pampered nuggets...

No, the nuggets are now being defiant and sleeping in the hallway on some pillows stacked there????? WHAT??? I have a futon and a sleeping area on the floor from them, but they choose to sleep down the hall from me? Oh my heart breaks. Actually, they also checked out Dennis' room, but his door is shut, well, and they are in turn "shutout"...

Here they are, resting peacefully and together. Oh, my boys love to be together. I'm not going to give in, as much as I'd love them in here, they have to learn they can't sleep on the bed. If they are content together, away from me, then I will accept that :(

MamaMuffin works...we sleep

My poor baby boys. I had to finish an 8-page paper this weekend and my boys were all tuckered out. Big brother nugget always sleeps farthest away and near the foot of the bed, while puppy nugget wants to be right next to me and this instance, in my lap. So here I am, I think it was 8 in the morning, writing my paper- typing over puppy nugget in my lap.

There's the little one: looking at me like I'm disturbing him. Aussie always looks so angelic while he is sleeping, I just love it!!!
